The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul.
He leadeth me in the path of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies
Thou anointest my head with oil,
my cup runeth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
In Remembrance of:
John S. Badura
John S. Badura, Interred at Arlington National Cemetery
John S. Badura, Our Comrade, Friend, Brother... A SOLDIER!
Many of us
remember John from our days in Panama. Each of us can tell our own experiences while working with this
gentle giant, some funny, some serious. As our reunion group constantly searches for past members, it
was a shock for us all to learn that John passed away in 1996. At our annual reunions, John's name came
up many times, we all shared our particular stories about our comrade, and will surely keep him in our
memories in the future, until the day we all join him in that wonderful place our Lord has promised
We remember John as a
Soldier, Military Policeman, Friend, Comrade, and Family man. He will be sorely missed, and will be
forever remembered by those of us that served with him. Rest in peace dear friend.
